Today I stumbled upon this website of a Sufi guy, who says he is the Messiah, Kalki and whoever it is being awaited by any and all of the world’s orgainised religions. No big issue, we have heard this a lot already.
But what I absolutely love about this guy is that he has his pictures on all of the planets and moon and sun and even a ‘nebula’. Now that is some different marketing ploy.. ;)
I gave up with the Messiah idea. You’re never going to convince everyone, which means if you convince some, then conflict will inevitably arise with those you didn’t.
Don’t get me wrong – I HAVE worked out the closest thing you can get to an answer to interacting with the universe, but spreading the word takes too much energy, and most people don’t want to hear it anyway.
I am not religious, so find all these god-men funny. In a mildly irritating kind of way. The irritation is only because they may exploit people. They do, I guess.
Spirituality is best left to the individual mind. But then that’s just how I feel. If someone ‘knows’ that the man next door is the 12th incarnation of their local god, I figure that’s their own business. If I have an issue with that, that makes me no better than someone who insists their God is the only God.
