The Unquiet

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

“I am broken, and I have broken in return. Now I wonder how much hurt can be visited upon others before the universe takes action, before some outside force decides that enough has been endured. I once thought that it was a question of balance, but I no longer believe that. I think that what I have done was out of all proportion to what was done to me, but that is the nature of revenge. It escalates. It cannot be controlled. One hurt invites another, on and on until the original injury is all but forgotten in the chaos of what follows.

I was a revenger once. I will be one no more.

But this world is full of broken things.”

Great Balls of Fire

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

The Earth, this red fertile earth, is like a woman. Angelic, ever-forgiving and the fiery calamity, the whole of mankind spawned out of her.
Unless you claim her neither belongs to you.

peace.

“When I’m old and wise,
Bitter Words mean little to me
Autumn winds will blow right through me.
And someday in the mist of time,
When they ask me if I knew you
I’ll smile and say
You were a friend of mine.”
Pinched from Veronica’s blog.. ;)

The Prophet

Thursday, February 1st, 2007

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.

And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.

And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

I only speak to you in words of that which you yourselves know in thought.

And what is word knowledge but a shadow of wordless knowledge?

Your thoughts and my words are waves from a sealed memory that keeps records of our yesterdays,

And of the ancient days when the earth knew not us nor herself.

Forget not that I shall come back to you.

A little while, and my longing shall gather dust and foam for another body.

A little while, a moment of rest upon the wind, and another woman shall bear me.

If in the twilight of memory we should meet once more,
we shall speak again together and you shall sing to me a deeper song.

And if our hands should meet in another dream we shall build another tower in the sky.

Crazy Nothings

Wednesday, May 17th, 2006

There is nothing in life worth dying for.
There is nothing in the world worth living for.
I have loved, so have lived.

?
Poetry touches me. Touches my heart, lifting it to some higher realm, where everything runs deeper.? Happiness is pure and love is forever and infinte. The words carry a passion life deserves, but doesn’t acquire.

? ? ? Then let come what come may,
? ? ? What matter if I go mad,
? ? ? I shall have had my day.

Human Psyche

Tuesday, January 31st, 2006

Heard an interesting take on life today.

Emotions are chemical reactions and at one time or the other, everyone has the chemicals reacting the same way. Only thing that differs is the outlook you have of it. It tends to depend on things like intellect, age and all.

Reminds one how silly we all are!!
